Agtek was established back in 2003 by Gayne Carroll, working out of the downstairs of his house and being the first importer of the quality Italian orchard line of tractors known as Goldoni. He grew this brand to becoming a very popular choice of orchard tractor for New Zealanders and this brand continues to be a very popular choice and is still being taken care of by Gayne and the Agtek team.
From the humble beginnings of Goldoni, Gayne has now grown Agtek to become the sole distributor for other quality Italian tractors such as Landini and McCormick, enabling a model range of horsepower from 35hp to 230hp and covering both the horticultural and Agricultural market. This then progressed to moving to a beautifully presented commercial premise in the Kiwifruit Capital of the World, Te Puke, displaying the wide range of these tractor brands.
Again, Gayne has extended to further include the range of smaller Hp tractors known as TYM, ranging from 25hp to 100hp, Agtek can now also cater to smaller orchards and lifestyle blocks.
To complement the quality tractor brands, Agtek also imports machinery such as the very popular Orizzonti mulcher, spreaders, sprayers and more.
