Description
The Orizzonti POWER Mulcher is built for demanding orchard conditions and is one of the most robust mulchers in its class. Designed to handle heavy prunings up to 8–10cm in diameter, it is ideal for New Zealand kiwifruit orchards, pipfruit blocks, citrus groves, vineyards, olive groves, and mixed horticultural applications. Suitable for tractors from 40–100hp, the POWER Mulcher delivers outstanding reliability and performance across a wide range of conditions.

Engineered with a heavily reinforced double-skin chassis, the POWER Mulcher is designed for long service life in tough New Zealand environments. Its rounded side profile helps protect tree trunks and vines during operation while reducing the risk of crop damage when working close to rows.
The driveline features a high-quality gearbox with integrated freewheel protection for smooth and safe operation. Power is transferred through a durable external toothed belt system with 3–5 belts depending on model size, providing efficient power delivery and dependable performance under load.
To maximise mulching performance, the POWER Mulcher is fitted with an additional toothed counter-profile that improves shredding and breakdown of prunings. Combined with internal counter-knives already fitted inside the housing, the machine produces a finer mulch for faster decomposition and cleaner orchard floors.
The versatile three-point linkage frame features adjustable mounting slots, allowing greater flexibility and easy setup behind a variety of tractor configurations. Mechanical side shift comes standard, with hydraulic side shift available as an option for increased convenience and efficiency.
For growers wanting complete under-vine or under-tree management, the POWER Mulcher can also be fitted with the optional Speed Green inter-row weeding head. This system can be operated either directly from the tractor via quick couplings or through an independent hydraulic tank mounted on the mulcher.
